Fall has just begun, and we’re already super excited for all of the great things that it is sure to bring with it. From the warm sweaters to the nights spent snuggled in front of the fireplace, this season has just the right amount of chilly and warm weather. That’s not the only reason we love fall, either– read on ahead to see our top five reasons to love this season!
The Pumpkin Spice Latte
Starbucks’ signature fall latte is one of the best drinks of the year, and the best kind of way to jumpstart your autumnal flair. It’s notorious for being a “basic” drink, but go ahead and embrace the title with a couple of Kendra Scott rings. The metallic pleated midi skirt will keep you warm while also making you look effortlessly stylish.
Is there anything more beautiful than all the new colors as the leaves change? Celebrate the change from green to shades of red and yellow with this leaf-themed getup.
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays of the year, and not just because it’s the one holiday of the year where we can eat as many sweets as we want without being judged. Dressing up as someone (or something) else for just one night is one Halloween tradition you can never outgrow. Throw on some cat ears to your outfit to prove how excited you are about Halloween without being too costume-y, and add a dash of red lipstick to enliven the look.
This might just be a southern tradition, but the thrill of mixing overly fried foods with dangerous rides makes this one of our top reasons to love fall. With all the yummy delicacies you’ll be consuming, you’ll want to make sure you rock your comfiest leggings and warmest coat to protect yourself from the chill and keep you from bursting out of your seams.
Return of Television
The beginning of fall also means the return of all your favorite television shows– from new shows like Fresh off the Boat to old favorites like Project Runway. Spend the night in in your best sweatpants (these ones from Everlane will make you feel good about sourcing ethically), and let yourself get sucked into an endless series of binge-watching your favorite shows.
